LUXURY HOLIDAY COTTAGES IN THE PEAK DISTRICT
About Pastures Barn
Reviews & Ratings
All high quality fixtures and fittings. A very comfortable stay with a four legged friends. Very well situated for country walks. The games shack and hot tub set it way above any other cottage we have looked at and we will be booked for the 3rd year next year."
The location is stunning - making that morning cup of tea with those views was a joy - and the cottage itself gorgeous. The hot tub, sauna and games room were amazing for the kids (and wonderful to have during inclement weather!), and I cannot recommend Jo's cooking highly enough - do treat yourself to a meal if you stay. We loved it so much that we have already booked to go back again next year!
The facilities were fantastic, the barn is beautiful, very clean, well equipped, high quality. The barn had its own hot tub, sauna, games, and we had use of the games room evening. All in all a fantastic location and accommodation, cannot recommend them enough and will definitely come back again.

About the Location
The hillside market town of Leek, known as “The Queen of the Moorlands” is situated on the western side of The Peaks and is surrounded by lovely Moorland countryside.
The town has a charming cobbled market place and there are many examples of fine Victorian architecture influenced by William Morris – a reminder of the town’s prosperity when it was renowned as a silk manufacturing centre. Today Leek offers a wide selection of shops including vast antique emporiums, a good selection of restaurants, a local park and leisure facilities and real ale pubs.
Situated close to Three Shires Head, the meeting point of the counties of Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire, Leek is near to Chatsworth House, Buxton Opera House and Gawsworth Hall, plus Alton Towers is within driving distance.
